Welcoming the Season

I kick my shoes off and curl up on the couch. A steaming cup of cocoa is warming my hands. The fragrant scent of pine from our freshly cut tree slowly fills the room. I see strands of lights blinking as the snow silently falls past my window. It is a peaceful end to a hectic day. The perfect way to welcome the season.
