Volume three explores how the experiences we love and feel enlivened by can become a part of our daily habits and routines, instead of merely storing them up for special occasions, or those rare weekends away. The images and stories remind us to casually celebrate food, community, and simplicity as often as possible.
We’ve collaborated again with over 50 artists to illustrate how we might cultivate these habits in our own lives: a design firm gathers around the office lunch table, husband and wife commit to eating breakfast together daily, and a young family happens upon their own morning ritual of fried eggs and freshly pulled espresso.
We know from experience that our meals and relationships evolve in tandem: we form friendships over lunch dates, settle into traditional brunch spots with family, and share cups of coffee that sometimes turn into marriages. These everyday meals, moments, and places shape us both individually and collectively, but these pages serve as a reminder that our time together can be unfussy and uncomplicated—so long as it’s intentional.
