Hartwood

Tucked away off a narrow road in Tulum, a low-key beach town on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, lies Hartwood, a restaurant known for its elemental beauty and open fire cooked dishes. Started by Mya Henry and Eric Werner, the restaurant is unique in that it lacks walls and stoves, but provides a sanctuary for locals and visitors to enjoy impeccably fresh meals under the open sky.

wish i had seen this post earlier...would have loved to go to Hartwood. But I go to Yucatan every year. My family is from Merida and I always find time to relax in Tulum.

I really enjoy your posts. They lift my spirits!
