Film: Honey Harvest

This was definitely the most interesting shoot we've had for Kinfolk. There was smoke, baggy bee suits, and 10 or more stings. The wildness of the shoot was contrasted nicely with the calming process of extracting and harvesting the honey. We finished our day with a simple meal of bread and honey, and each of us went home with jars to share.

Thanks to Sarah, David, Leo, Matt, Julie, Amanda Jane, and Cree for a fun day.

Wow, this is so inspiring and gorgeous! All I want now is some of that honey! I've never seen how it was harvested before, and even though bees scare me, I'd love to try it sometime.
