End of a Meal, Ines Nepomuceno

This photographic project by Ines Nepomuceno was conceived through a ritual of photographing her meals like a still life painting. The banality of the subject was transformed through her photography and made the often uninteresting moment at the end of a meal something beautiful and memorable.

I always savor the end of the meal, taking in the beauty of empty plates, lingering over the last sip of wine in my glass as conversation fades into quiet contentment. Beautiful photos.

I love this idea...I always find the at the cooking and the cleaning often take longer than the actual eating, and can be when the best conversations happen. This is one of those "why didn't I think of it" moments.
