Coava Coffee Roasters

Coava, located on SE Grand Avenue in Portland, Oregon, is Turkish for “green coffee” which speaks to the establishment’s viewpoint on sustainability. Not only are all of their tables refurbished workmen’s tables, but the co-owner, Keith Gehrke, is the inventor of The Kone, a stainless-steel filter that fits over a Chemex brewer.

Whether you are a student looking for a quiet place to sip a rich cup of coffee and study, or are part of a group of friends looking to spend a relaxed afternoon together, Coava is the perfect place to set aside some time.
