Apolis + Kinfolk Garden Bag

We're happy to share that our friends at Apolis have designed a new bag they're deeming the Apolis + Kinfolk Garden Bag, inspired by the Kinfolk approach to living. Despite the title, we think it's good for lots of things beyond your forays into the weeds. Use it for an evening picnic, a hike with friends, a farmers' market carryall, or beautiful storage for this or that around the house. Or perhaps it will indeed inspire you to get out your garden trowel and plant some bulbs before winter hits!

We were excited to partner up for the project since the bag reflects Apolis' mission to empower communities worldwide and further invest in the rural community of Saidpur, Bangladesh, where a fair trade female cooperative manufactures the product. Apolis is currently providing employment for 21 women and plans to train 20 more through the establishment of the Bangladesh Sewing Academy. The Apolis + Kinfolk Market Bag is now shipping from Apolis' online shop and can be purchased in store at Apolis: Common Gallery.

Simply beautiful- I'd expect nothing less from the KINFOLK community. And the leather straps give it a very nice touch.

ATTN: I followed that link to the Apolis on-line site for the bag specs. There appears to be a typo.It says the bag is 74 USD.

(contacts store directly, is informed that's the actual price)

Oh. Nevermind.

LOL are you guys ever out of touch with reality.

Have a great day kinfolk

bought one the other evening at the Kinfolk dinner and I'm already addicted! It's worked to carry my computer and files to a meeting, my glasses and "stuff" when I was out and about, and I hope to use it for a little lunch on the go today!

There's nothing better than a great big tote bag to carry your life in. I do love a flip top picnic basket but it is so cumbersome and heavy! This is the perfect canvas and leather substitute ;)

Everytime I visit this site I feel so surprised. This bag is amazing. I wish I could buy it.
